 “Moonlight”

The light of the moon floating in the night sky is more than just illumination to me—it gently enfolds my heart.
Its whiteness is not cold, but carries a quiet warmth that softens the darkness.
The layered strands of light expressed through washi were born from my prayers and wishes, woven one upon another.
The overlapping and blending colors evoke the wavering world revealed by moonlight, and also the shifting shadows within my own heart.
This work holds not merely a moment of the night, but my personal reflections on all the nights I have walked with the moon.
